THE COMPANY, ZOMATEK LIMITED
General
Zomatek Engineering Limited is a ‘DESIGN & CONSTRUCT ’ engineering company that resulted from the
fusion of two firms, CAD Consult( Consulting Engineers)
and Zomatek Construction Limited. CAD Consult was established in
1989 to offer expert engineering design services in civil,
structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines. Within
ten years the disciplines of architecture , quantity
surveying and town planning had been added. The company recorded
remarkable success in many major projects, including the design of
major infrastructural facilities in two of the districts of the new
Nigerian capital city of Abuja.
Zomatek Construction Limited was established in 1999 to offer
construction services of any complexity to discerning clients.
The company also scored remarkable achievements
in the handling of a wide range of projects in Nigeria
within a relatively short period of its existence.
In recognition of the growing need of some clients to embrace a
complete package of services from feasibility studies to design
and finally construction, the two firms came together in 2008 to form Zomatek Engineering Limited to offer just such a consortium of services, what we call the “Design & Build Engineering” package. Thus,
after giving us the brief and agreeing the programme, the client
can go home and wait for the keys to his facility ! This frees
the client to attend to other vital businesses rather than
fritter precious time coordinating complex projects.
Staff Resources
As client programmes must be promptly met the head office and project
offices grow with increased project commitment.
Nonetheless, the core professional staff remains stable. In
addition to the Management Staff, the head office
maintains Engineers, Surveyors as well as technical and
managerial support staff. Project offices are normally staffed
according to the scope and nature of the project . Typically, each
project office would be manned by engineers, architects,
quantity surveyors as well as quality control and safety
officers.
Organogram
There are three directors who superintend over the affairs of the firm
but the Managing Director is the Chief Executive Officer.
There are five departments viz:- Civil/Structural, Electrical,
Mechanical, Architectural and Quantity Surveying .
Each department is headed by a fully qualified and experienced
professional who reports directly to the Managing Director
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is that a satisfied client is an investment for the
future and therefore client satisfaction is of a higher priority than
the profit margin. We are also strong advocates of staff
development through continuous education of all grades of
personnel. This has to be so because in today’s dynamic
economy with ever evolving technologies, a professional is only
as good as his last knowledge update.
LEGAL STATUS
Zomatek Limited was first registered in Nigeria in 1999 with its registered office at 11 Okolo Ozomma Lane, G.R.A., Enugu. However, the corporate headquarters is now at 70 Nza Street , Independence Layout, Enugu. A branch office is also located at 19 Unity Avenue, Rumuokwuta, Port Harcourt
In 2008 the company commenced operations in Ghana after duly complying with the statutory requirements of registration. The Ghana office is currently located at 13 Park Lane, Greda Estate, Teshie, Accra
THE KEY PERSONNEL
Our key professional staff is made up of seasoned professionals. Not
only are they all academically qualified and experienced , we
have had as deliberate a policy , a compulsory regime of
continuing education for our staff so as to keep them abreast of the
latest developments in their respective fields.
